The Gohar Park Tourism Village has dedicated a 37,350 square meter area to commemorate the era of the Holy Defense, transporting visitors to the atmosphere of the war. The primary focus of this section is on Operation Karbala 5 (Shalamcheh axis and east of Basra, December 1986/January 1987), which was commanded on the Tharallah Kerman Division axis by the late Major General Martyr Haj Qassem Soleimani.
This complex includes reconstructions such as a field hospital, a Hussainiya, and a prayer room, along with displays of mock-ups of various types of war mines (Valmer, anti-tank, "Tomato" anti-personnel, and flare mines). Furthermore, to create an emotional connection with the heroes, seven lifelike statues of prominent martyrs, including Major General Haj Qassem Soleimani, Martyr Ali Sayad Shirazi, and other commanders, have been placed in this section. Visitors can also observe various Iraqi wartime obstacles such as swamp obstacles, the Arvand River, and barbed wire entanglements up close.
